  25. SHORT DESCRIPTION

  27. Exsate DV Capture Live is a program for capturing DV video from IEEE-1394 Firewire 
  28. and recompressing to other formats in realtime.

  30. Key features:

  32. Display DV date/time stamp - detects recorded DV date and time stamp and 
  33. automatically imprints it on a video frame: 
  34.  
  35.   * Once a day;
  36.   * Once an hour;
  37.   * Every scene;
  38.  
  39. Automatically operates your camcorder - frees you from some annoying operations 
  40. to control your camcorder each time before capture: rewind a tape, search for 
  41. the beginning of a recoding, etc. Automatically captures: 
  42.  
  43.   * from the beginning to the current position of a tape;
  44.   * from the current tape position to the end of a recording; 
  45.   * a whole tape from the beginning to the end;
  46.   * any given timecode interval;
  47.  
  48. Realtime recompression to AVI or ASF formats - recompresses captured video to 
  49. an AVI file with any DirectShow or VfW compressor installed on your PC including 
  50. DivX (AVI) or to the Window Media ASF file (WMV) on the fly.

  52. Scenes detection, capture to multiple files - detects scenes and writes them 
  53. to a single file or to the multiple files.

  55. Performs some tasks to make the capture process more comfortable:

  58.   * display a capture progress;
  59.   * automatically rewind a tape after the capture;

  67. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  69. Capturing and processing digital video is a hard job for a computer. Your 
  70. system has to satisfy the following minimum requirements:

  72.   * Microsoft(r) Windows(r) 2000, XP 
  73.   * Microsoft(r) DirectX(r) 9
  74.   * Microsoft(r) Windows Media 9.5
  75.   * Microsoft(r) GDI+ (only for Windows(r) 2000)
  76.   * NTFS file system 
  77.   * At least Intel(r) Pentium(r) III 1000MHz or higher processor / 3800 or 
  78.     higher is recommended 
  79.   * 128MB of RAM/256MB or higher is recommended
  80.   * 3MB free hard disk space for program installation 
  81.   * High-speed hard drive (7200rpm recommended) 
  82.   * Display with 800x600 resolution, Hi-color

  92. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

  95. 1. New Installation

  97.    Check your system requirements. Make sure your Windows 2000 or XP 
  98.    account has at least a Power User rights. Run dvcsetup.exe file and 
  99.    follow the instructions. If you have any problems with the

  102. 2. Update a Previous Version
  103.  
  104.    This version replaces any previous so you should save a previous 
  105.    version installation to a safe place in order you will be able
  106.    to return the previous version back. Check your system requirements. 
  107.    Make sure your Windows 2000 or XP account has at least a Power User 
  108.    rights. Run dvcsetup.exe file and follow the instructions. If you
